The lodge is located on the beach in Punta Burica, about 8 kilometers south of the town of Puerto Armuelles in one of the most beautiful areas of Panama. The area boasts a wealth of wildlife including howler monkeys and a wide variety of tropical birds.

This Pacific beach extends for 7 miles plus 2 miles of surfing beaches by the point. The ocean offers a bounty of fish, whales and other marine life. There are good diving spots and snorkeling reefs nearby. Punta Burica is predominantly undeveloped and is biologically diverse. However, there is a new road, electricity, and water which affords the residents an acceptable standard of living.

Reaching Punta Burica is easy. The closest main city of David and it's airport are only about a 1.5 hour ride away. There is also an excellent airstrip 15 min. away in the town of Puerto Armuelles for possible charter flights from David or Panama City.
