Captain Dan Peavy, daughter Alexia Kai and Captain Oliver. Took my wife and daughter on a dolphin watch in the afternoon. We spotted hundreds of Bottle Nose Dolphins and even came across a pod of 3 Humpback Whales. Being the fisherman that I am, I couldn't resist at least one cast on the rocks at Isla Burica. One cast and I came up with this 30lb. Rooster and Alexia Kai was right at my side for the entire fight. That was her first big fish experience and watching the excitement on her face was priceless.

My wife & I came here in early Nov. 2008. After touring the countries more popular areas for two weeks, this four day stay at Hooked on Panama has been the highlight of our trip. Staff here have been great, the food unsurpassed and the weather just fine.

My husband, Angelo, and I have just enjoyed a wonderful 5 days fishing here at the lodge. From the moment we arrived we have been treated like part of the family and we have felt welcome at all times. Our 1st. day fishing was spent with Rafael as our skipper and Chris as our guide. Our next 4 days we continued to have Rafa as skipper then Oliver as our guide. Rafa, Oliver and Chris were all fantastic and over our 5 days we caught 4 sailfish, 2 dorado, (1) 125lb. tuna and (1) 450 lb marlin. There were also lots of other fish not landed. This was an amazing result and we have fished at many places all over the world. We will defiantly be returning to Hooked on Panama Lodge and will be bringing friends next time We will be counting the days until we can return!

Thank all of you for yet another wonderful vacation. We were here with you guys over a year ago and you guys have come so far. This is truly heaven on earth and I never could have imagined a place as perfect as this. We did it right and had a great time every day.

This place was everything we wanted it to be for , both fishing and a romantic getaway.

Thank y'all for making this such a wonderful trip for us. We truly felt like part of the family and this place is more beautiful than anyone could imagine. Even in the "GREEN SEASON", the fishing was off the hook!! The captains and mates were so personable & filled with knowledge, it was a pleasure fishing with them.
